Let’s just acknowledge right away that Otis donning a pink mask, tights and cape to pose as “El Gran Gordo” so he could wrestle on Raw was dumb and a ridiculous loophole on par with Mr. America.

That said, once you just realize it’s all supposed to be comedy anyway, you can just let go and laugh a little. Otis is comic relief, but he’s also a pretty endearing character, which lets him get away with a lot more than most people would be able to survive. Even a pink mask and cape.

El Gran Gordo polished Miz off with a Vader Bomb, which actually is a perfect finisher for Otis, and it gave him a measure of revenge against the A-Listers after losing his girlfriend and tag team partner.

The only loser here is Tucker, who looks to be lost unless Otis finds a way over to Raw. Maybe he can reinvent himself as a singles wrestler, but it’s gonna be a tough road.
