5 Ups And 2 Downs From Last Night's NXT (April 1)

3. Kushida, Again

I don't know what more I can keep saying about how wasted Kushida is currently than just pointing at this gif and letting my face drop a bit. The man is, probably, the best in-ring worker in NXT currently and they still can't find anything substantial for him to do. I'll not get back into a potted history of his matches (even I'm getting bored of it now) but it's not great.

Part of the reason I've moaned about this North American Championship situation is because there are people like Kushida on the roster who could be giving us matches we've never seen before. We'll get into the triple threat match later on, but would anyone have been disappointed if the direction they'd gone was Lee vs Kushida instead? Show me an NXT fan who doesn't want to see that match and I'll show you a liar.

In the meantime, I wouldn't be against them him and Wilde just go at it back-and-forth for a few weeks to get a little mini-feud going. They've both clearly got some chemistry and the ending of the match clearly implied they weren't finished with each other.
