5 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night’s WWE NXT (Mar 16)

1. No Way Jose

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnRQmRlPJ-g Toward the end of the episode, a vignette was broadcast hyping the arrival of a new talent. As some upbeat music played, the words "No Way Jose" were repeatedly shown on the screen. If rumors are to be believed, the "Jose" in question is Manny Garcia, who debuted for NXT last summer and has been competing in dark matches under the name Levis Valenzuela, Jr. Garcia is a former ballroom dancer who wrestled in the North Carolina area before being signed by WWE. If this clip is any indication, Garcia looks to be coming to NXT TV behind the eight ball. The impetus for his entire character is based on an annoying saying, and that's hardly the genesis for a future champion. Maybe "No Way, Jose" will become his catchphrase, but that's more appropriate for a cheesy '90s sitcom than a pro wrestler in 2016.
