5 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (April 28)

Ups...

5. Baron Corbin Continues Looking Like A Threat

The most logical outcome at Payback is that Baron Corbin emerges victorious from a hard-fought war with Dolph Ziggler. Due to Ziggler's status and the fact their bout is on pay-per-view, it shouldn't be a squash. Dolph has to look threatening, otherwise there's little point in both men feuding.

It is however fine for Corbin to roll over the top of others. He has an aura of imposing size, even if he's not actually that much larger than guys like Damien Sandow. The 'Intellectual Saviour' was the perfect opponent for Baron on SmackDown, their short tussle delivered what it had to.

There was no messing about with a babyface comeback or anything like that, Sandow was destroyed by the former NXT man. It couldn't have been booked any better, a far cry from the awkward attempt by Stardust and Apollo Crews to shoehorn some heat into a short bout.
