5 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (April 28)

4. The New Day Were A Riot On Commentary

There's a sense that it's impossible for The New Day not to be entertaining, they just interact with one another so naturally. On SmackDown, the main task of Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston was to guest announce a tag match between Enzo Amore & Big Cass and The Social Outcasts.

Instead of helping out the commentary team, New Day outright replaced them. In a hilarious moment, they even made poor Byron Saxton sit on the arena floor. His lectured child mannerisms were priceless, and the group looked like they were having a lot of fun. In the midst of all of that, they didn't forget why they were out there to begin with.

Following a victory for Enzo & Cass, The Vaudevillains applauded. This was fairly basic build to the tag-team tournament final at Payback, but it was welcome. Things don't need to be convoluted in order to be effective, this was simple and straight to the point. Everyone important was involved, which is great.
