2. Rusev And Ryback Feud Is Uninspiring
On Monday Night Raw, Rusev and Ryback engaged in a short match which ended in count out. The 'Bulgarian Brute' decided to check on Lana instead of finish the match. The blonde beauty had been hit during a brawl between the wrestlers on the outside of the ring. The idea of a rivalry between both men was furthered on Smackdown. Cutting a promo backstage, both Rusev and Lana called out Ryback for "deliberately" hitting the 'Ravishing Russian' during the melee. It's obvious that this is a feud which will push the reset button on the relationship between Rusev and Lana. It's likely to be a short one, because WWE simply want things to go back to the way they were before with the real-life couple. The problem is that fans are probably more into Lana than they are Ryback, who will be expected to be the babyface in the feud. There's something lazy feeling about the situation, and it's pretty uninspiring. Rusev has been struggling for a while now to gain traction, but the same can be said of Ryback's good guy act. Simply shunting them together doesn't seem like an ideal solution to either man's woes.
