5 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (July 14)

2. Kalisto & Tyler Breeze Deserved More Time

The Lucha Dragons Tyler Breeze Fandango

In less than three minutes, Kalisto picked up a pin fall victory over Tyler Breeze on this week's SmackDown. This was designed to further the fresh feud between both teams that began on Monday Night Raw. For what it was, the match was fine, but it would have been even better had it been given more time.

There's hope yet for Breeze, who at one point looked like he was destined to be demoted back down to the developmental brand. His team with Fandango has greatly helped him find a place on the roster, even if it isn't in a lofty position. Similarly, Kalisto always knew he could come back to his team with Sin Cara once his singles experiment was over.

A predicted fast pace rang true between Kalisto and Breeze, they seem to work very well together. This is heading towards the Kickoff show at Battleground, and there's nothing wrong with that. There's no issue with Kalisto getting the win, but a few more minutes would have been welcome.
