5. Kane's Promo Mind Games Are Intriguing
Credit where credit is due, Glen Jacobs is a very accomplished talker. Going further, the man is perhaps one of the best microphone men WWE have under contract. In real-life, the guy is extremely well-spoken, so it's no real surprise that he excels when called upon. On Raw, his mix between 'Corporate' smiling Kane and 'Demonic' grimacing Kane was excellent. That continued on Smackdown. During his in-ring promo, Kane delivered, and in a big way. It'll take a lot more to convince people that Seth Rollins vs. Kane for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is worth investing in, but the writing team are definitely going the right way. There's intrigue in the way Kane is being cast, which is not something that could have been said before his kayfabe injury. Seth Rollins doesn't have to do much other than appear confused by the split personality angle. That suits him perfectly, because he'll likely be called upon to shoulder much of the burden when the pair do eventually wrestle. Kane isn't the in-ring performer he was years ago, but he's still superb on the mic. That came across nicely on Smackdown.
