5 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (April 15th)

Downs...

5. So Long, CJ

April 15 will go down in the book as CJ Parker's last televised match with the WWE. The Egomaniacal Eco-Warrior asked for his release on March 31st, which was granted. According to various interviews conducted by Parker since his departure, the separation was amicable. He doesn't have a bad thing to say about WWE, remarking to Main Event Madness podcast: "WWE is a very fair place, they take care of their people, they take care of their family, got nothing bad to say about them." Then we did he leave? According to a separate interview he conducted with Inquisitr, Parker cites personal growth. €œRight now, I want to get experience all over the world, you know. Start at the ground level and hit the reset button and get into all those experiences that all my friends that are with the company did." This is more than understandable, especially when you consider the recent glut of highly-experienced independent wrestlers signing with NXT, like Kevin Owens, Hideo Itami and Finn Balor. All of these men have over a decade's experience around the world, honing their craft. Parker believes that after 4 years in only one territory, and after over a year of almost total in-ring losses, it's time to get his training elsewhere. Gaia be with you, CJ.
