5 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Christmas Eve)

Downs...

5. Corniness Has Limits

We all know that when WWE has a holiday episode of Raw or SmackDown, it’s inevitable that we’re going to get several corny segments and moments throughout, but that doesn’t mean we need to load up on them.

Raw had more than its share of corny moments, with a Miracle on 34th Street Fight, and also several backstage segments with superstars doing their Christmas wish lists. We also were “treated” to the B-Team singing their version of the 12 Days of Christmas, which got old after the first segment. And of course, there was Vince McMahon dressed up as Santa Claus, and Rhyno also decked out as Kris Kringle.

As with many things WWE does, there’s a tasteful, healthy dose of something, and then there’s WWE overkill.
