5 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 26)
4. Burning Through The Roster
Ronda Rousey is a legit bada**. That is not in dispute here.
And while it’s important that she show some aptitude as a wrestler, having her work her way through the heel women’s roster in random confrontations before her first match might not be the best idea.
Last week, Rousey was confronted by Dana Brooke in a dark segment and made short work of her. Monday night, she was approached by Absolution and offered to become a fourth member of the group. The Rowdy One declined the offer, and Paige set Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville on her. Rousey dropped Deville (a fellow former MMA fighter) with one clothesline and then took down Rose, locking in an armbar that GM Kurt Angle had to plead her to let go.
Rousey does need to show a growing prowess, but if she armbars Alicia Fox next week, we’ve got some problems. Even homegrown Nia Jax and Asuka didn’t face off against this many main roster wrestlers this quickly in their WWE careers.
