5 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 26)

1. ‘Do Something!’

John Cena

The idea of a WrestleMania match between John Cena and the Undertaker is a very appealing one, with two of the biggest stars in WWE history possibly squaring off at the biggest event of the year.

But while the initial idea – Cena trying to coax Taker out of his self-imposed exile by insulting him – has stretched on, with no response from the Deadman as we head toward the final week before Mania. And so, we most likely still won’t know officially whether that match will take place.

Besides all that, the storyline has been basically Cena yelling “Do something!” at the cameras, urging Undertaker to throw a lightning bolt. Had this happened a few weeks ago, it might have been OK, because it would have presumably left a few weeks for an actual build between the two men.

Instead, we will at best have either an in-person confrontation or some Taker sign next week confirming the match, and that will be it. A “dream match” between two major stars will have no personal confrontations and minimal build as an actual match, other than Cena trying to convince Undertaker to fight him.
