4. Elias Lays Waste To Jordan

You had to wonder when the Drifter would channel his inner Honky Tonk Man… or perhaps it was Jeff Jarrett.

After losing to Jason Jordan at TLC when the referee missed his shoulder getting up before the three count, Elias finally tired of his feud with Jordan and unloaded on him. With a guitar.

Jordan collapsed and the match obviously was immediately ended due to a DQ. But it was funny to consider that Elias carries a guitar to the ring every week, and this is one of the (if not the) first times that he has used his six-string as a weapon.

This rivalry hasn’t really been working, but it’s something for two guys mired in the midcard to do in the interim. And laying out Jordan might have worked to get some sympathy for him, so who knows?
