5. Short And Sweet From Sullivan

WarGames' opening contest was nothing particularly special, but it achieved exactly what it needed to: showcasing the ludicrously thick, maturing prowess of Lars Sullivan, with the experienced rock of Kassius Ohno obscuring his obvious greenness. Whilst other matches on the card would have made for a more exciting opener, it was the right decision to get this one over with quickly, lest it wilt under the pressure to follow its inevitably superior cardmates.

It's not clear whether Lars is related to the Satanic Sullivan siblings Kevin and Dave (he's not), but he looked suitably evil here. Sort of like a nefarious ham hock.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
