5 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (April 2)

1. Rousey Gets Tabled

Stephanie McMahon Triple H Ronda

Oh come on.

If the results of Monday’s opening segment means that Ronda Rousey “breaks” Stephanie McMahon’s arm and sends her scurrying to a local hospital, then so be it. But having Big Steph put Rousey through a table to close out the face-off after she bad-mouthed her and called her property was just too much.

Despite all the training videos and testimonials from coaches saying that she’s in peak shape, there’s no reason for Stephanie to get the upper hand like that. Perhaps a cheapshot or a hired gun inflicting some damage would have made sense, but McMahon sauntering over and slamming Rousey through a table was ridiculous.

It wouldn’t have taken much for Stephanie to bash Ronda with a mic or chair or something before slamming her. Instead, she just overpowered a former UFC champion point blank. Guess they’ve gotta keep Steph strong, right?
