5 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 11)

5. Erick ‘The Vermin’ Rowan

Whatever Erick Rowan is carrying around under the burlap cover, does anyone think the reveal will be worthwhile?

Although he wasn’t really involved in any central angle (nor is he apparently booked for Survivor Series), Rowan was in multiple segments Monday night, squashing a jobber, beating up the Singh Brothers, and talking to an unseen animal in a cage. Weird.

Worse, the scene with Rowan talking to “Boo-Boo” (among the different things he cooed to the animal) was shot apparently from the perspective of the animal inside the cage, as the camera view of Erick was through the mesh. Later, Rowan carried the covered cage to ringside for his match, leaving the cage on the announce desk.

And afterward, Rowan walked off with the cage, and no reveal.

Thrilling stuff. Unless there’s a baby unicorn or goose that lays golden eggs, this is bound to flop.
