Much like Drew McIntyre, Andrade has been on a roll of sorts since showing up on Raw this fall.

El Idolo defeated Cedric Alexander Monday night, continuing his winning ways since joining the red brand. It’s a definite shift for Andrade, who was often lost in the shuffle on SmackDown despite being a solid, reliable performer with a good act alongside his manager Zelina Vega.

Andrade and Alexander had a short but spirited match, with the former Cruiserweight Champion hitting his signature spots before falling victim to a Vega distraction and a Hammerlock DDT.

You have to hope this leads somewhere, but for now, it’s good to see Andrade getting regular TV wins without doing the dreaded 50/50 or just being absent from programming.
