5 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Roadblock: End Of The Line

1. A Lackluster Show

Some people will point to two title changes and declare that Roadblock was an important and/or noteworthy PPV.

But let’s face facts: New Day’s tag title reign was due to end, while Sasha has lost every PPV title defense immediately after winning the title. So neither of those bouts were really in total doubt. Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns had a decent match that ended with more outside interference. The cruiserweight match was totally forgettable. And Rusev/Big Cass was short and dull, setting up a rematch for Raw.

Roadblock could have just as easily been a really decent-to-good episode of Raw with a couple backstage skits thrown in, but as the last PPV of 2016, it fell flat. Just add it to the pile.
