5 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 25)
4. Elias Interruption Pays Off
Watch Raw regularly and you’ll become accustomed to wrestlers interrupting Elias when he’s trying to perform a song. Sometimes, it’s funny, while other times, it’s just annoying because it doesn’t serve any purpose for the troubadour other than to make him frustrated and someone backstage to presumably laugh.
But this time, an interruption paid off. Dean Ambrose cut Elias off and tried to make a request, then hit a Dirty Deeds DDT on him. But Elias would return the favor during Ambrose’s no-DQ match against Drew McIntyre, blasting Dean with a guitar to hand victory to McIntyre.
For once, something that happened in that strumming segment paid off later on in the program.
