5. Rush Hangs In There

When it was made official, Lio Rush challenging Finn Balor was all but laughed off by the announcers. And it almost looked like that’s how the match was going to go as well.

But thankfully, the smaller Rush got to have a proper match with the Intercontinental Champion, hanging with him and nearly pulling off the upset a few times. Of course, he fell short in his quest for the IC title, but seeing Lio attacking Finn’s knee relentlessly and keeping the champ on his toes made for an enjoyable segment.

No one really gave Rush much of a chance, but we still got a competitive match, rather than the cruiserweight being obliterated or treated as a total joke.
