5 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 25)

1. ‘I’m In Remission, Y’All’

Roman Reigns

That’s a pretty unusual applause line, but when Roman Reigns said it, he blew the roof off the arena.

Reigns has been absent from WWE TV for four months – though he’s been periodically referenced – because his leukemia resurfaced last fall. The treatments clearly have worked, and Roman emotionally announced Monday night that he’s back.

What that exactly means was unclear, as he gave no indication if that means he’s cleared to begin training again, or if he’s already prepared to return to the ring. We don’t know when he’ll be back – whether this was an update and he’s off TV for a couple months to prepare, or if he’s going to WrestleMania.

Even though he hit the ring and nailed a couple moves, Roman didn’t bump, so we wouldn’t consider that a clear indication he’s good to go 30 minutes at Mania.

That was the only negative to all of this. The announcement itself was a huge deal.
