5 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 10)

For whatever reason, WWE decided to run a rematch of sorts from Super Showdown and gave us the result we should have seen on Friday.

Lars Sullivan faced off against Lucha House Party again, this time in an elimination match. And Sullivan basically no-sold their offense and pinned Kalisto, Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik in short order. He beat them mercilessly, even lifting Metalik up at 2 twice so he could beat up Kalisto and Dorado on the outside in-between the beating in the ring.

This is exactly what we should have gotten at Super Showdown, but instead we got a dull, plodding DQ win with the luchadores cheating and then still getting pummeled afterward. And in this situation, the delayed correct outcome only hurts Lars and diminishes the impact he could have.

This was such an easy thing to book, and WWE has managed to screw up the monster heel, which has always been something they’ve at least been competent at. What gives here?
