UPS…

5. A Deeper Tag Division

SmackDown’s tag team division was on display Sunday night, and it provided a nice glimpse of what’s available. Sure, it was due to six of SmackDown’s top stars being in one match and the fact that the blue brand has a smaller roster, but still.

The returning Zack Ryder reformed the Hype Bros with Mojo Rawley and took out the Colons in a decent enough kickoff show match, and Tyler Breeze & Fandango overcame the Ascension in an energetic, short match. And of course, the tag champs the Usos battled New Day before walking out.

Three tag matches highlighting six tag teams, plus the absent American Alpha (seriously, their absence should warrant a “down”) and the possibility that the Singh Brothers could wrestle, and you have a deeper tag team division than what Raw is currently offering. That alone merits a positive, even though that’s not saying a lot.
