5 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (September 10)

4. A Little Help From The Law

WWE loves to beat a point home, but for once, they left something silent that actually would have helped to point out.

Acting GM Baron Corbin banished The Shield from the arena and threatened them with arrest, but Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins returned later on to beat up Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler. Corbin said he was going to have to take action, but Rollins and Ambrose pointed out that “The Shield” wasn’t here; it was just the two of them. It was a wiseguy answer that Baron wasn’t buying.

But Rollins and Ambrose had a surprise – a New Orleans sheriff who was ready to arrest Corbin for filing a false police report. Baron begged off and talked to Seth in private to avoid an arrest. That seemed a little contrived, but afterward, we got our reason why: The sheriff’s nametag read “Ambrose, G.”

Yup, it was clearly a relative of Dean doing him a favor. It was a little silly, but they were outnumbered with an authority figure against them, so it didn’t hurt to have some backup.
