5 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (September 10)

3. Glorious Exuberance

This is leading somewhere, right?

We’ve seen this Chad Gable before. The overexcited, hyper puppy-dog antics that annoy a tag team partner, but a plethora of talent that overshadows the annoying traits. It worked really well for American Alpha, but this feels different.

In this situation, you have veteran Bobby Roode teaming with Gable, but Gable was so excited that he kept tagging himself in – immediately after the bell and then again as Roode was closing in on a victory – without the Glorious One really looking to tag out.

Roode looked amused by all of it, and it really could go two ways. Bobby could just accept it and the two ride up the tag ranks as they learn to work together, or Roode could tire of Gable’s antics and turn on him, finally turning heel.

It’s not a major storyline, but given that neither man was doing anything of note, the fact that there’s at least something going on involving the two men is a good thing.
