5 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE Hell In A Cell 2016

6. A Gullible Ex-Champ

If you’ve been paying attention, you knew that Brian Kendrick was a desperate man. He constantly said so during promos, headbutted Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins after a match, and asked TJP to lay down for him.

So how in the blue hell was Perkins so gullible that he fell for Kendrick faking a knee injury during their title match? WWE seems to love having its babyfaces be gullible goofs. Perkins is not even two months into his WWE tenure, and the only two things fans could tell you about him right now is that he loves video games and he got played with a ruse a 10-year-old saw coming.

Maybe they’re setting Perkins up for a title rematch, but they sure made him look foolish in the process. Let’s hope there’s a sharp detour coming.
