3. Mansoor Gets His Moment

If you watch NXT regularly, then you’ve probably caught a glimpse of Mansoor in the developmental brand. He’s shown some potential.

Friday, he avoided the hometown jinx. Quite the opposite.

The Saudi Arabian won WWE’s largest battle royal, a 50-man affair, tossing Elias to win the match in front of family and friends and popping the crowd something fierce. It was a feel-good moment for the young wrestler.

Battle royals don’t really matter in the grand scheme of things – particularly when there are no real stakes other than bragging rights – so it didn’t hurt anything to have a rookie win it all.
