Give Finn Balor and Andrade credit for persevering at Super Showdown.

The two had an Intercontinental Championship match that played out to the sounds of silence in the beginning, as fans weren’t really reacting to much of anything. It wasn’t like they were dogging it or anything either.

But halfway through, fans seemed to come around and get into the match, which obviously made things come across a lot better on TV. They strung together some nice sequences and delivered a pretty solid bout, with an eye-popping top rope DDT setting up the Coup de Grace for the Balor win.

The only negative is that once again, Andrade ended up on the losing end of a big match.
