MNM, which stood for Mercury, Nitro, and Melina, worked well together while portraying a group of Hollywood celebs in the mid-2000s. In truth, Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro were a solid tag team that would go on to capture the titles. However, it was their sultry manager, Melina, who was often the center of attention.

The gap in popularity between Melina and her tag team wasn't as significant as say, Sunny and the Bodydonnas. However, due in no small part to her signature entrance, which involved doing a split on the apron and then sliding underneath the bottom rope, it was Melina who became the most memorable part of the act.

As a wrestler, the good thing about having a gorgeous valet is that it gets fans attention. The downside is that the attention isn't always directed at you.

While Melina may have slightly outshined her male counterparts, for the most part, everything turned out OK once the trio parted ways.

Melina went on to have a very successful career as a wrestler, Johnny Nitro is in the midst of a solid singles career, and Mercury had a noteworthy run as a member of 'J&J Security.' This goes to show that being overshadowed isn't necessarily the end of the world —or even one's wrestling career.
