Miss Elizabeth was the first valet in WWE to really become a star in her own right. However, there isn't anyone, even Elizabeth, who could steal the spotlight from a character like the legendary 'Macho Man' Randy Savage.

One of the main reasons that Elizabeth was successful is that WWE didn't ask her to do too much. She was never given long-winded promos that exposed the fact that she wasn't an actress by trade something WWE has a bad habit of doing these days. With Elizabeth, the facial expressions she made ringside and her ability to play the soft-spoken damsel in distress was enough to enhance Savage's storylines.

'The First Lady of Wrestling' played a significant role in several of the 'Macho Man's' most memorable angles, including his WrestleMania V feud with Hulk Hogan. Moreover, as is often the case with real-life married couples, the pair had great chemistry.

Elizabeth proved the old adage 'less is more' even applies in professional wrestling.
