5 Ways IMPACT Wrestling Is Outclassing The Competition Right Now

3. Everyone Has A Story

Take a glance at the current IMPACT roster. You can count on your fingers how many currently active names (i.e. they're not out injured, kayfabe or otherwise) are currently without a story, regardless of its importance.

The man in the picture above is Sam Beale, a student of IMPACT's own Trey Miguel. He was first shown to IMPACT fans during Trey's rivalry vs. Sami Callihan, with 'The Draw' attempting to use Beale as a way to manipulate his Rebellion opponent. Even beyond that feud, Sam has remained a regular fixture on IMPACT programming. Right now, he's under the guidance of Brian Myers in a story opposite Jake Something.

Sam essentially came into the Anthem-helmed promotion as a glorified enhancement talent. If IMPACT can find a story for him, they're doing something right.

This, unfortunately, isn't the case in WWE nor AEW.

What's Humberto Carrillo's story? There isn't one. T-BAR and MACE, former RETRIBUTION members, are just that; former members of a failed stable struggling to find their footing, despite spending a few weeks as apparent honorary Hurt Business members.

As for AEW? Dante Martin, an incredible in-ring flyer in his own right, is precisely that. Why he's having bangers is unknown, as he's not actively chasing a championship. Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt are Jungle Boy's friends. As of writing, there isn't much else to them.

Given how credible that company's booking typically is, that's shocking.
