4. No More Brand Split
Well, kind of. You still have Smackdown superstars and the World Title that are specific to Smackdown but everyone can appear anywhere. The line between the shows is blurred right now and it would make a great idea to only have the WHC exclusive to Smackdown and to have feuds that may require more build overflow to Smackdown. There is no way I can see Smackdown becoming RAWs equal ever again and I dont think it should. Smackdown should be treated as the B show where the fallout of RAW occurs. At present, thats just what we are getting. A lot of people have called to have the two world titles unified but I dont agree, once you realise that the WHC is the modern day Intercontinental belt you will sleep a lot better at night. Smackdown is where the midcarders hone their skills before they make their way to the main event scene and the exclusivity of RAW. Think about that for a moment and it would appear thats just what WWE is doing, they just havent told anyone. RAW is the flagship show, Smackdown is the B show to gain experience and added fuel for a feud. This is actually working really well considering that the most compelling and classic wrestling feud recently was, before his injury, for Zigglers title involving Del Rio, Swagger and all their cronies. A massive part of that build and the build-up of each character was how they could spread their wings over both shows.
