3. Booker T
Can you dig it suckaaaa? Booker T took WCW by storm with his brother Stevie Ray as the Tag Team champions Harlem Heat, with their unmatched athleticism and unique flair giving them 10 WCW tag team titles. Booker T has a history of living a gangster lifestyle and break dancing so he brought that to sports entertainment and made an act out of it which was unique. Booker T started an individual mission in the WCW where he won the Television title six times in the space of three months and had some good matches with the likes of Chris Benoit and Fit Finlay. Proving he could be a star in any company, T would then go on to win the WCW championship four times, beating the likes of Rick and Scott Steiner as well as Kevin Nash. Despite being very successful in WCW, his achievements are oftendiscredited because the WCW had lost stature and talent by the time Booker T got his chance at the big time. Booker T signed with WWE and quickly got pushed to the top as part of the alliance storyline. During this time Booker T would win his fifth WCW title against Kurt Angle, but after the Alliance story line died a death Booker T would spend a year teaming with Goldust in mostly comedic roles. He would claim tag team titles and showed range as a performer at this time but it showed that WWE were not ready to use him as a main event star. The slow road back to main event stardom started with a Intercontinental championship victory against Christian and then he would also go on to win the United States Championship on three different occasions. Booker T reached the top of the mountain by finally becoming World Heavyweight Champion once again in 2006 with a win over Rey Mysterio. Booker T became a star in the WWE by pushing hard and becoming a ring general. A well respected man backstage Booker T was in the Hall Of Fame class of 2013 where he was inducted by his brother Stevie Ray . During his time with WWE he has also been a color commentator, king of the ring and general manager of Smackdown, and has now retired from full time wrestling, give or take occasional cameos on on Smackdown.
