5 Worst WWE Divas Champions Of The PG Era

4. Kaitlyn

The road Kaitlyn travelled to reach the promised land of WWE was similar to that of Kelly Kelly. While Kelly was plucked from a modelling background, Kaitlyn came in with a history in bodybuilding. Like Kelly Kelly, her reign with the Diva’s title passed 100 days (the Women’s Championship was active at this point by the way, but actually had a decent history throughout this time period, all things considered).

Also like Kelly Kelly, the fans did seem to respond positively to Kaitlyn at first but, in one more example of the two women’s mirrored paths, Kaitlyn was given too much, too fast. She was only 26 at the time and had only been wrestling for three years.

Kaitlyn's story is one of 'what if' moments; she had the fans behind her, showed a decent amount of promise, and featured prominently alongside AJ Lee upon her introduction to SmackDown. She had a heel turn to join Natalya and Beth Phoenix's Divas of Doom stable which was cut from television and never mentioned again by WWE. Mixing with those Superstars shows that WWE saw something in her, it just never materialised into the total package.
