In what is fairly indicative of his WWE career, 'The Show-Off' Dolph Ziggler has a slightly below average record at Night of Champions. He opened up his record in 2009 with a loss to Rey Mysterio for the Intercontinental Title, as Rey continued to refuse to put over the young Ziggler. 2010 and 2011 saw success for Ziggler, defending his Intercontinental Title at the former against Kofi Kingston before besting John Morrison, Jack Swagger and Alex Riley in a US Title defence at the latter.

It has all been downhill since then however, with losses being racked up against Randy Orton (2012), Dean Ambrose (2013) and last year against The Miz. This year Ziggler goes up against Rusev as part of the worst WWE story currently running. There have been no winners in this story, except maybe Dog Ziggler.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
