5 Wrestlers Who Could Be Saraya's Major Secret AEW Partner

1. Yuka Sakazaki

Yuka Sakazaki
AEW

Yuka Sakazaki is sadly too successful in and vital to her home promotion of Tokyo Joshi Pro to, for now at least, star full-time for AEW.

She could however be convinced to undergo an excursion, and as a cult favourite of the most ardent AEW fans, they'd take to her very well. They already have.

In May, she took an exhausted Rampage crowd in Baltimore, not in the best of moods, since they were served the absolute worst Dynamite line-up of the year - it was headlined by the coldest match in AEW history, Deonna Purrazzo Vs. Mercedes Martinez for the Unified ROH Women's Title - and raised them from the dead. Her urgent, dramatic match with Riho was superb. A Sakazaki signature, her intoxicating blend of wholesome charm and deceitful speedster ring work got her over all over again - and she hadn't wrestled on AEW television for almost a full calendar year.

They remember her and they love her - so much so that she'd never be considered a disappointment to them. The only disappointing thing about the enchanting Sakazaki is that she isn't a regular.

Also: she never did exact revenge on Baker for knocking her tooth out...
