5 Wrestling Dream Matches That Make Perfect Sense (And 5 That Don't)

3. DON'T - Hulk Hogan Vs Stone Cold Steve Austin

The Fiend Doink
WWE

We are at the point in this, the year of our insect overlords 2020, where it no longer seems unfeasible to think of WWE advertising this for a ThunderDome Raw just half an hour before the show.

The company have enough money floating around that they can rent the a venue just to fill it with Skype calls, and the second the world returns to anything even close to "normal" the poor wrestlers will be back on a plane to Saudi Arabia to ensure the health of that decade-long deal. Hogan and Austin can be rebuilt to fit, and to draw, but it's best to give up the ghost before one of them become one.

The sad reality of this combination is not that it never happened, but that it probably wouldn't have worked even if it had. Both had egos and styles that would have clashed, regardless of who agreed to take the all-important fall.

This isn't to rule out 'The Hulkster' taking an almighty earth-shattering Stone Cold Stunner if he's ever fit to bump again...
