5 WWE Comebacks That Should Never Have Happened

3. Scott Steiner

scott steiner Scott Steiner's first stint in the WWE was alongside his brother Rick Steiner as The Steiner Brothers. A proven tag team their most notable feud was with the IRS, they also co-main evented Survivor Series and gained the World tag team titles. Although a liked tag team they would stay at WWE for just two years before moving on. After a short stint in ECW, the Steiner Brothers found their way to the open arms of WCW. The Steiner Brothers would win the WCW tag team titles and have a popular feud with the Outsiders. However Scott found real success on his own, he became WCW United States Champion and WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Although reaching success in WCW Big Poppa Pump made his return to WWE in 2002 after eight years away from the company and made an immediate impact after being tipped as the hottest free agent in the business then signing for Bischoff's Raw after weeks of courting by both general managers. He was then catapulted straight to main event status with a World Heavyweight Championship opportunity against Triple H, the feud built up to two matches, one at Royal Rumble and the other at No Way Out, both times Steiner was unsuccessful in claiming the championship. This totally destroyed any momentum he had going for him, he then had some forgettable feuds with the likes of Test and Christopher Nowinski. In 2oo4 Steiner would suffer an injury and be released whilst healing. Bad times for the Big Booty Daddy. After failing to make the impact desired in the WWE, Steiner would join.. yes you guessed it TNA. He has had to stints with the company as well as making many appearances on the Indy scene. Steiner still wrestles to this today all around Europe making many of his appearances with his brother Rick.
" Everybody has got to blame somebody for not making it" Triple H replying to Scott Steiner's negative comments about him, Rosenberg Hot 97's.
