5 WWE Stars Who Will Suffer The Most From Upcoming Pushes

2. Aiden English

Make no mistake about it, a win over Daniel Bryan is huge for Rusev. That loss on the latest SmackDown was Bryan's first since returning, and it hints WWE may finally be about to strap a rocket to Rusev again, embrace the popularity of his "Rusev Day" gimmick and actually use him properly.

That could be very detrimental to Aiden English.

English, who suffered through a dire main roster run as part of The Vaudevillains, has been re-energised by his "Drama King" role. Aside from a few matches here and there, he's pretty much a mouthpiece/manager for Rusev, but that's a promotion from jobbing in pre-show dark matches to all comers. Sadly, it doesn't look like it's going to last.

A recent backstage skit starring Rusev, English and Lana suggests WWE are about to move away from the Rusev/English package. Once they do, Aiden will struggle to get on SmackDown. Without the Rusev gimmick anchoring him to TV, he'll fade away.
