5 WWE Stars Who Will Suffer The Most From Upcoming Pushes

1. The New Day

PWInsider have reported this week that Big E will defeat Sheamus on next week's SmackDown and advance to the men's MITB Ladder Match. According to that report, WWE's interest in a singles push for E is growing, and that means The New Day's time as a threesome may be coming to an end.

This isn't the first time WWE have tried to push Big E. Before New Day even formed, he was Intercontinental Champion and quite obviously someone management were high on. Then, the New Day idea came around and took off, causing creative to stall his individual development.

If rumours are to be believed, WWE fancy trying again.

That'd leave Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods to work the New Day gimmick as a tag-team. It's unlikely WWE would want to push E as a top-tier singles worker with the comedic, gyrating, pancake-throwing persona he plays now though, and if he does get serious it'd mean taking him out of New Day.

The trio rely heavily on their chemistry, so the gimmick might stumble without one part.
