A champion versus champion bout between Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch and SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley is a match that has organically booked itself.
The two women have a shared history from their days in NXT as two fourths of the Four Horsewomen, despite never having shared a rivalry as intense as Charlotte vs. Sasha or Sasha vs. Bayley. Both women have also been positioned as underdogs, fighting and clawing their way from the shadow of their former team mates and to the top of the WWE mountain. Now that Bayley is holding the belt that The Man lost to Charlotte Flair at Money in the Bank, Lynch and The Huggable One have the foundation for a feud already laid out between them.
If Lynch were to revert back to her heel persona, then booking her in a rivalry against natural babyface Bayley would be the best way to market her as a bad guy. The Man is so over in WWE currently that it's hard to imagine fans booing her, but having her face someone like Bayley just might do the trick. Taking into consideration the outstanding caliber of matches these women are capable of, it seems only logical that the two get a chance to face each other at some point in the future.
