5 WWE Tag Team Reunions That Ruled (And 5 That Sucked)
4. The Dudley Boys (2015)
It started off so well, with most decorated tag team in WWE history returning on the post-SummerSlam 2015 episode of Raw and taking out The New Day. The live crowd were positively electric for their appearance, and yelled out in collective glee when Xavier Woods was 3D'd through a table. Just like the good old days...
But once the nostalgia wore off and the Dudleys lost all of their matches with New Day and then just kind of hung around, not doing a great deal. They turned heel in an angle where they refused to use tables, but nothing really happened from it. They lost the WrestleMania pre-show match to The Usos and were put through the plywood but that was it.
After that, they had a mini feud with Enzo and Cass, but were pretty much relegated to the pre and C shows for the remainder of their time, working on the likes of Main Event an Superstars. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but it hardly did their legacy any favours. They eventually left the company in August 2016, having achieved the sum total of sod all - though they did massage their bank accounts a little.
