5 WWE Women's Feuds That Ruled (And 5 That Sucked)
4. AJ Lee Vs. Kaitlyn
One of the best women's feuds in recent memory, AJ Lee and Kaitlyn did much to make up for years of underwhelming, poor and borderline insulting women's/diva's feuds and matches. They were no doubt helped by the fact they were close behind-the-scenes as well as the overness of Mrs. CM Punk.
The two had bonded when they were performing on season three of the gameshow version of NXT and began tagging soon after, debuting on SmackDown as the 'Chickbusters'. Their team was cut short when AJ began a romantic relationship with Daniel Bryan and was used as his valet.
The two did their own thing for a while, with Kailyn capturing the Divas Championship and having a very long and successful reign. The two began feuding in March 2013 and AJ became the number one contender to the title.
Playing mind games with her former friend and partner, AJ deviously had Big E Langston - not yet a unicorn-wearing, hip-shaking God - pretend to have fallen for Kaitlyn (who had been receiving gifts from a 'secret admirer') and then berated her once it was revealed that it was a set up all along.
Kaitlyn was left in tears and she wasn't too happy six days later when AJ beat her for the title. She must have been happy with the quality of their match, however, as their ten minute scrap was one of the best things on the show.
The two had another good math the following month at Money in the Bank, with AJ once again coming out of that show as the victor. In order to build to it, the two had the first ever public Divas Championship contract signing, an indicator of how much WWE were investing in the feud since they don't do elaborate angles like that for any old rivalry.
