50 Best Wrestlers From Each Of The United States

Oklahoma: Jack Brisco

Birthplace: Seminole, Oklahoma Both of the Brisco brothers are synonymous with Oklahoma, but Jack gets the nod here because of his success as a singles wrestler over the years. The first Native American to win an NCAA Championship in amateur wrestling, a 500-day reign as the NWA World Champion, a whopping total of 53 titles won during his 20-year career, and one of the best technical workers of his era. That alone makes for one amazing career, but he and his brother, Jerry (aka Gerald Brisco of Vince McMahon's Stooge fame) discovered Hulk Hogan and introduced Hulk to Hiro Matsuda, who would go on to train Hogan. That's a pretty incredible bonus to have.
