50 Best Wrestlers From Each Of The United States

Oregon: Art Barr

Birthplace: Portland, Oregon In America, Art Barr saw moderate success wrestling as Beetlejuice (yes, named after the Beetlejuice movie) in Pacific Northwest Wrestling, but it wasn't until he went to wrestle in Mexico that he truly became a star. Wrestling for CMLL, and then AAA, Barr became one of the most hated men in all of Lucha Libre. His team with a young Eddie Guerrero became legendary for the sheer amount of heel heat they could garner. They performed so well together that the WWF, WCW, ECW and New Japan Pro Wrestling were all calling for their services. Unfortunately, Barr would pass away in late-1994, at the age of 28, of a "drug-related heart attack". Guerrero would go to ECW, where his legend in America would grow, but many still wonder how things would have gone if Barr were by his side when he arrived.
