50 MMA Fights You Must Watch Before You Die

21. Cub Swanson Vs. Doo Ho Choi - UFC 206

Perennial top contender and all-action fighter Cub Swanson has had very few boring bouts during his career. This is partially down to the fact that he's always been one of the most creative strikers competing at featherweight. Unlike most 145lbers, his opponent at UFC 206, Doo Ho Choi, was more than willing to trade blows with Swanson, leading to an intense three round battle.

Choi, who had brutally knocked out his first three opponents inside the UFC, showed early on why fans had such high expectations for him. By landing wicked knees in the clinch and snapping Swanson's head back with quick jabs, it looked like the Korean Super Boy was going to earn his first win against a top contender.

Swanson, however, stormed back in the last two rounds, using the same ridiculously inventive striking that made him a fan favourite. His ability to wade through whatever Choi was trying to attack with him and then land his own brutal strikes was the perfect way to show the type of fighter he is.
