50 MMA Fights You Must Watch Before You Die

20. Chan Sung Jung Vs. Leonard Garcia - WEC 48

They say that first impressions mean everything and that's certainly the case for Chan Sung Jung, otherwise known as The Korean Zombie. His debut for World Extreme Cagefighting against Leonard Garcia will go down as one of the most impressive debuts in the promotion's history.

Known for being fearless, aggressive and completely willing to engage in a slugfest, Jung was matched up with fellow brawler Leonard Garcia. For three rounds, both men threw haymakers at each other at a rate that would make most fighters exhausted just watching them.

Despite them both having solid moments during the fight, Jung looked the more impressive during their exchanges. From kicking Garcia out of the air as he leaped towards him to battering him with a combination of crushing punches and kicks, Jung made sure fans would remember his performance.

However, despite being dominant throughout the three rounds, the judges somehow gave the fight to Garcia in what many consider one of the biggest controversies in MMA history.
