731763

Pros:

1. Very talented Diva in terms of grappling skill

2. Was popular with the audience

3. Was willing to run with weird gimmicks (including one as a psycho lesbian)

Cons:

1. Didn’t have that many good opponents once Lita and Trish left the company

2. Was decent on the microphone

3. Had weight issues, apparently

James joined the WWE during the latter half of the Ruthless Aggression era, and made a name for herself almost immediately as Trish Stratus’s homosexual super-fan. Despite initially possessing the disturbed smile of a B-movie serial killer and the matching mannerisms, James could wrestle very well, which came as a huge breath of fresh air for fans, especially after both Stratus and Lita retired.

James was the best thing that could've happened to the WWE during a period of transition. With Lita and Stratus gone, it was up to James and the other women to try to live up to their standard for women's wrestling. She did this well, wrestling in great matches with the likes of Beth Phoenix, Melina, and to a lesser extent Jillian Hall and the rest of the Divas, proved that she could wrestle very well, which made her a huge asset.

Unfortunately, WWE would later 'go in a different direction' vis-à-vis the Divas Division, and James was undeservedly released. We all know how that direction would turn out.

Final Rating: ***3/4
