26. Kane
Pros:
1. Big and terrifying
2. Still intimidating, despite no mask
3. Loyal to a fault
Cons:
1. Went from World title contender to lost in the midcard

3. Katie Vick, Lita’s pregnancy, impostor Kane, battling against Giants; pick your choice for worst storyline
For a guy whose entire character was based on being ruthless and aggressive, Kane underwent a period of unusual transition.
A big part of Kane’s mystique was his mask; there was always curiosity about the face beneath it. Yet when he finally unmasked, his career started going downhill. By unmasking, he went from World Title contender to being lost in the mid-card in rather short order. In fact, for the most part, Kane’s career during the Ruthless Aggression was nothing more than a myriad of really dumb storylines.
From allegedly engaging in necrophilia with Katie Vick, to impregnating Lita, to the Impostor Kane storyline, to the whole ‘May 19th’ thing, to throwaway rivalries with Big Daddy V and the Great Khali, Kane’s talents were solely under-utilized. It was at this point that many began making the ‘shell of his former self’ statements about him.
Sadly, Kane did a very little during the Ruthless Aggression Era, except have a few World Title matches, get demolished by his brother at WrestleMania (again), and electrocute Shane McMahon’s testicles. At least fans will remember him for that.
