Pros:

1. The greatest cruiserweight in WWE history

2. Unmatched speed, skill in lucha libre wrestling, and aerial maneuvers

3. Must’ve made WWE millions in mask sales

Cons:

1. Booked poorly as World Champion

2. Relegated to the Cruiserweight Division after Paul Heyman left

3. His style began to really take its toll on his body at this point

For many years, WWE was sorely lacking in the cruiserweight department, as Vince didn’t seem to really care about the smaller wrestlers that much. As such, he must’ve really received a kick in the head from reality, when Rey Mysterio debuted in WWE, and proceeded to make WWE millions of dollars in merchandise.

Mysterio was far and above the greatest light heavyweight wrestler to ever step foot in a WWE ring. Though incredibly small by WWE standards, Mysterio made up for this by using a wrestling style that concealed his weaknesses considerably. For example, he wrestled Kurt Angle in the opening match for SummerSlam 2002, and that nine-minute match was quite possibly the best opening match in WWE PPV history.

Though he wasn't particularly ruthless or aggressive, from 2002 to 2008, Mysterio was a huge star, able to do things that few of his peers, if any, could even dream of doing. Even though he had many injuries, that didn't do enough to slow down the Biggest Little Man in WWE history.
